Developing new online information products for the scientific community

Academic libraries have been experiencing a revolution over the last 10 years as electronic access to critical digital information has taken over from paper-based journals and books. Elsevier has been at the forefront of this revolution and is investing heavily to develop a range of international, electronic products for university research offices, academics and librarians.

We have conducted a series of largely qualitative research projects to identify universities’ unmet needs and their opinions about the web-based concepts being developed.

We refined those offerings to ensure that Elsevier delivers what key decision makers and users in universities require.
